I´ve been asked to make some background music for a photographer´s site, nothing strange, just a simple ambient. the thing is I don´t know how much can I charge this guy for this, its my first time doing this for money so maybe someone in here can throw me an estimated number.... can you?

20 bucks sounds good! he asked me to do 3 short loops, should I ask that for the three or $20 each?

Is this something you do (or want to do) for a living? If so, then try and get a credit link on his site to your site...might get you more work or start a portfolio.

Yeha I have bought loops in the past...anywhere from $20 to $100 bucks...depends on length...and of course how good they are.

no, I don´t do this for a living, just to get some extra money and I will do it for anyone who wants it. just needed a refference cause I allways made my own music and never bought loops. the idea is to keep doing it as much as I can cause I really enjoy it. I also made music for short movies and I´m looking forward to do a comple soundtrack for a long movie.
