they would be able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that AaronM did post those comments.

First, they'd have to get the IP address he used to post, which would require a subpoena. Then, they would have to match that IP address to an ISP. Then they would have to subpoena the ISP to determine if AaronM had been assigned that IP address.

If they went that far, he could easily say "I left myself logged in to GFY during a party at my place, and someone else must have dissed the baby"

I'm not an attorney, but I'm pretty well read on these things in a layman way, and here's what I think (just an opinion)...

On the one hand, you are not exempt from libel, slander, and defamation suits by saying what you say on a chat board.

HOWEVER, when someone sees what the standard level of behavior is on this board, where insults and taunts (both sincere and otherwise) are common, and when someone nevertheless decides that someone goes too far when engaging in what is pretty common behavior in this forum, THEN I think someone is being an ass.

I, for one, don't want someone who's quite that sensitive on the board, and if Rory were banned entirely from participating, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

I think Rory owes the board an apology.

Agaion, I think this is only because after the big argument thread was done. Weeks later ( guessing) when the site was released Rory made a program announcement.

How would you like it if you made a Design Announcement or a Content Announcement and someone came in the thread and said you were giving models drugs or were known for not paying models or you were known for stealing designs etc? (not directed to anyone)

I really dont want to get involved in who is right or wrong, but even you must realize this issue had no business in an open forum.

Its very easy to jump to conclusions when your are not preseneted with all the facts. That letter was not hey we are going to court , it was a letter that said quit talking shit (eveywhere, not on GFY, everywhere) and in exchange we would not pursue the moneys owed by Aaron to my company. The lawyer is in no way related to me or a personal friend, this is a business matter and should have remained one. When this starts effecting you and your family as opposed to words on a screen then judge. The fact that you people seem to think its acceptable to share someone elses medical shit on a business board is childish and I sure hope it never happens to you. The events that lead up to that letter and the reasoning behind sending the letter are and will remain a personal matter between me and Aaron. Judging based upon a personal letter posted by him is taking a very narrow minded opinion. If this is all Rorys fault and he is the one being inappropriate here then I imagine that a judge would see it that way as well when presented with the circumstances. The original issue stems from me paying Aaron $2000 for shoots, tell me how Iam screwing somebody if Iam the one paying them?

I dont know what went on here, nor do i care. Nor will i accept your side of the story aposed to someone elses.

I am not in the position to judge and i will not even attempt it.

I recomend that you contact GFY staff and have this forum and any other forum that gives reference to your legal/personal/medical issues removed from the board.

This is your business and i think spreading it to every big mouth webmaster on here has just got to be a bad move.


If i were you, i would have already contacted GFY staff and if they didnt respond i would grab that lawyer of yours and have him just find the right people to contact .... not saying sue GFY ... just saying he may be able to get in touch with some "higher ups" that you or I dont have access to.

Without threatening i would ask them nicely, for the interest of all parties involved, please remove these threads. PERIOD


I sometimes discuss alot of personal issues on the board also, i know its tempting because you get answers and feedback ... but this is an issue that can ruin your reputation, your career, and your name if it has not already.

Actually, I joked about it because of his behavior. I had no clue he really did have a problem. He is the one who came to the board and spoke up about it.

A) Rory posted on a board that he knew Aaron read asking for his $2000. Was brought to the board after several weeks of Aaron not responding. (That thread was deleted by Wizzo at the request of AaronM so will be hard to document something he had deleted).

B) The fact that there was no written terms agreed upon by both parties in regards to $150 kill fees makes charging them against Oregon law. My choose to seek the money has nothing to do with the validity of the claim, dont get them confused.

C) Rory asked for input on his site after Aaron decided he was going to post a smartass comment on Rorys program thread. What is the reasoning behind posting on that thread in the first place Aaron? Instead of giving your opinion on Rorys site you decided that you would like to give an opinion or Rorys business ethics and question the fact that I pay my affiliates. The problem is that I have never not payed an affiliate and I have never done anything for which one should question my business ethics. We had our arguing done several months ago , the fact that it continued led me to make a decision to try and end it in the most ethical way I knew how to. This should be over, why does Aaron not wanna leave my business alone?
