Only the mercury isotope Hg-196, which occurs with a frequency of 0.15% in natural mercury, can be converted to gold by neutron capture, and following K+- decay into Au-197 with slow neutrons. From what I understand... they can create every known thing on our planet, at least at a very tiny size. We can't create a human, but we can create the cells with the dna on, that rebuilds your body, turn on dna that can make you glow, grow an ear, from a cell we made. The same technology can take any element, and flip it's switches and turn it into another.
