yes, it WAS a fad for a few years. obviously there were choppers before that, and there will continue to be choppers in the future, like there was a before and after to any fad. but the last few years with the american chopper, westcoast choppers, and whatever other bullshit chopper shows were all over tv for a few years turned it into a little pop fad for a while. look at all the jackasses who have never even sat their ass on a bike once, walkign around in westcoast chopper tshirts, and all the douchebags with too much money who ran out to buy themselves a custom chopper over the last few years when the shows all got huge. what would you prefer to call it?
