American chopper is finished apparently, probably for the best as the show really went downhill.

Yeah just seen an ad saying that earlier when watching tv. Was cool back in the day but I didn't know anyone watched it anymore.

The chopper fad is over. Besides nobody has any money to be throwing $100k away on choppers so the new hot show is Pawn Stars. Glamorizing the need to pawn your 100k chopper for $5000 to buy food.

It got played out father and son yelling at each other, that was funny back when "Sanford and Son" was on in the 70's.

I thought that show was already off the air. All reality shows have a shelf life. I do love watching Pawn Stars though.

umm, the show was all about the tuttle trainwreck from the pilot episode.

I watched the show one time. All I seen was a man verbal abuse his son. They built some decent bikes. I am glad to hear JR left. No one should put up with abuse like that.

yes, it WAS a fad for a few years. obviously there were choppers before that, and there will continue to be choppers in the future, like there was a before and after to any fad. but the last few years with the american chopper, westcoast choppers, and whatever other bullshit chopper shows were all over tv for a few years turned it into a little pop fad for a while. look at all the jackasses who have never even sat their ass on a bike once, walkign around in westcoast chopper tshirts, and all the douchebags with too much money who ran out to buy themselves a custom chopper over the last few years when the shows all got huge. what would you prefer to call it? "the chopper fad" works perfectly in my books.

Every episode was the same - The deadline approaching.

all the episodes had tons of arguing and then some corporation paying for an overpriced bike. fun show back in the day but didn't know it was still on.
