Join page links have to be always on the right. It makes more sales that way. People tend to click links on the right more often, their mouse cursor is mostly on the right, too.

never ran a paysite so i can't speak from experience there, but when it comes to ctr and ads, i find the right side placement to be a truth. people read from left to right, if you want to draw attention to something, the eye movement is moving towards the right. so i can see this making sense for a signup too. the cursor positioning is true too, with the vast majority of people being right handed, the cursor generally tends to make movement towards the right with the hand naturally pushing the mouse outward...

that makes sense.... but with a lot else on my plate it might be a while before i can do that

They are starting to get a little old, but the principals stand the same. If you're a "webmaster" you should at least have some basic concept as to usability.

Well, as an affiliate they do stand as a good point for comparison between offers/products being promoted on your own traffic. If I'm running two offers on the same traffic, with one converting 1:10 and the other doing 1:100, it's obvious who I'm gonna drive my clicks at in the end. As somebody else's stats though they aren't much good for anything.
