Yeah I was going to say, the domain is an asset of the company and can't just be transfered!

:2 cents: The worst part is the branding. I wouldn't want to bring Enron back but if I did would probably loose their logo (otherwise known as the international symbol of fraud)!

its difficult to grasp the unfathomable incompetence demonstrated right out of the gate... i mean, people couldn't even believe it was fucking real.. that's how mind numbingly stupid these "business decisions" are before they even get started.. and what? you're really going to trust them with your money? seriously?

anyone doing business with these people deserves exactly what will happen. there is only one possible outcome for this company.

Here is some more light reading for you:

The name IBILL stands for $30 million in lost webmaster income, thousands of lost jobs, lost credit ratings and dozens of lost homes and broken families . Even when you "Joan's" worked at IBIll during the first 4 years, hundreds of thousands of $ of webmasters money disappeared in the Web 900 fiasco and IBILL washed its hands of the matter disclaiming all responsibility. You in your wisdom decided to trade on that reputation, That is akin to someone going out and calling itself AIG and trading off their failure.

You want serious questions here's a couple
How much money does the NEW Ibill have deposited in case your merchant bank withdraws support ?

What value do you have in insurance as required by law to cover losses should a web 900 or similar loss making incident happen in the New Ibill.
In other words spell out exactly in $ and cents how you will compensate webmasters when you or your merchant bank fail.

No hope in hell you are gonna get past the mess Ibill left before it went bust, no matter how many 'bro' points you get at conventions. Many of us have long memories.

They owed me over 20k too. I was one of the idiots that trusted their emails asking for more time and assuring web masters that they would get caught up. They came across like boyscouts. Something is entirely fishy about former Ibill founders starting a new company with the same name.

The only people I don't care about is the people who still think i or the new iBill owes them money after everything that is out there about the company. I have a question, how come not one person to date has stepped up to the plate to sue us? Maybe just maybe it is true that we have had nothing to do with iBill after 2002 until we took it over.

So, feel free to continue to bash us, it don't matter to me, for the most part it is good reading for me at night when i am waiting for king of the hill to come on at midnight.

You need to understand one thing, My face is out there, people have seen and talked to me at shows. I am looked at more then a new pop up payment processor.

If I wanted to take your money, why would I bring iBill back? I could have started a new company that no one has heard of before, take the money and be gone without anyone ever seeing me.

Thanks,

Jonas

It doesn't even matter. You can steal three times the amount you did and get away with it. These idiots will line right back up to get fucked again. That's how porn works. By idiots, for idiots. :2 cents:

Whats the story behind the domain name ? Didn't ibill go bankrupt ? Why was it not sold ? isn't it a crime to withhold assets or something ?

MsCheyenne 08-22-2009 06:50 PM

Think about this. If after the fall a "founder" or "original programmer" from Ibill came clean...was honest and wanted to work again...of course, as long as he did not pocket a ton of money...just an honest folk wanting an honest job, wouldn't every one be cool with him? Instead the former "programmers" of ibill were not heard from for several years. Then they reintroduced themselves with custom painted limos and pole dancers at an adult expo. Can you smell major bullshit?

HighEnergy 08-22-2009 07:19 PM

iBill??? who cares ... ?

Like GFY is the center of the adult web master universe ???

There is that very very small chance the new iBill will hook-up with AWMs who have never heard of them before. And who have never heard of GFY. Contrary to popular belief the advance of internet marketing isn't dependent upon GFY members.

Actually, it's not the founders of iBill that fucked us over. It was the people that bought the company. The founders were really good people. I recall that once they had an outage that interrupted billing and the original founders decided to pay us for the loss based on average sales. Not even your ISP will do that when your site is down. Additionally, if you had a serious problem or needed special attention, you could speak directly to the mangement even on their cell phones after hours. It was a partnership made in heaven.

I do believe the founders left after the purchase. Corrections welcomed.

The founder was still in charge when the WEB 900 fiasco happened and webmasters lost many thousands in revenue :Oh crap

So the founders of Ibill built a company that webmasters trusted. Then they sold the company to bad people who stole millions. Then the bad people went away and the founders came back. When the founders came back it was in custom painted limos. It stinks to high heaven!
