Go to the AVN website and search iBill, you will see a story they did a few months back

Thanks,

Why did you guys decide to keep the same name? If there were new owners, don't you think a new name would have been a better approach.

Just my thoughts.
In this biz, once you get that black eye, you are jinxed for life. New owners or not.

you still didn't answer a question we keep asking:
if the owners are new and have nothing to do with the "old iBill", why on earth did you keep the name iBill that is blacklisted by so many webmasters?
couldn't you just use a different name ? it just doesn't make any business sense.
or do you still don't understand what the name iBill means to people here?

I'm waiting respectively to hear your reply

"We're not going to get old, seasoned porn people, but there are always new, up-and-coming people," Brown said. "And that's who we're signing up."
That says it all really. The majority of 'old, seasoned porn people' would not let themselves be scammed by iBill again. Pretty easy to scam the 'up-and'coming' people though isn't it? How long before they steal money again? 6 months? 12 months? 2 years? About the only thing you can be pretty sure about is it will happen.

There were also claims that two lists containing personal information from more than 18 million former iBill clients had disappeared, but at the time both the company and the Federal Bureau of Investigation offered assurance there were no problems.
Ok, I'll call it even if you give me a copy of the list.

After reading the AVN article all I could say was wow and I thought I was good at writing and marketing.

Who ever thought keeping a name that is widely hated was a good idea needs to be shot... it be like me opening a restaurant and serving a unique cheeseburger plate and calling it the E-Coli Special!!

Perhaps if I-Bill were to actually show the management / owners / staff were different and not the deceivers from before it would help a bit. I heard the same stories and "trust me" posts from years back only to find it what everyone was accusing them of.

Obviously the reinvented I-Bill refuses to believe the jury is out and never left or the level of distrust that has occurred and they already have stood strong as before to their story hoping that people will believe what they want them to believe.

Someone needs to take a seminar or two at a convention and show proof on legal paper so that we can properly vet the information for ourselves... less we fall into the old saying, "fool me once - shame on you - fool me twice - shame on me"

Matyko 11-27-2009 10:03 AM

If they bought iBill they must have knowledge of the owners who scammed the half industry. Why don't they give them out? NAMES, etc...

F-U-Jimmy 11-27-2009 11:41 AM

People people people !!
Its all smoke and mirrors.
This badly educated guy set out to try and profit by buying the name IBILL. He was in a management position when the Web 900 fiasco went down, yet he lies to people saying he was not at IBILL when the trouble started ? What was Web 900 then a trial run ? Other companies like Segpay are run by ex IBALLS management /employees, but at least they had some marketing prowess and came up with a totally new name.

I mean come on, are you seriously going to trust a company run by someone who thinks it's a great idea to use the old IBILL name? That action alone says it all :1orglaugh

I have a question. If you're a different company altogether, why did you take on the IBill name AND then offer "stock" to those who were ripped off by the "other" owners of IBill.

A.) The "previous" owners of IBill offered a very similar incentive.

B.) Why would you offer ANY type of compensation if you had NOTHING to do with the "previous" owners?

Seems very shady to me, anyone that would trust your company would be a fool.

What kind of stock was he offering? The kind you can actually go out and dump the next day, or the worthless kind you can't do anything with that most lowlife companies offer?

^ What he said. iBill owes me money too.

Buying iBill name/logo/whatever = Worst business decision ever.

Its going to cost Millions in PR and advertising to rebuild it, would have been better off to start from nothing.

Here is what we are offering to anyone who was with iBill in the past to try to earn your business back.

1. Send us a copy of your worthless promissory note and we will exchange it for stock in iBill at 1.00 per share. This is just our way of trying to make something out of nothing. We will be sending out the PPM on Sept 1, 09 as well as the certificates. Why not, it is free?

2. We are going to offer a 5% per transaction fee with a 5% 6 month reserve
for a period of 6 months.

3. No VISA fees, we pay for the filings.

If you have any questions or comments about this offer please post here or you can email me directly at [email protected].

-snip-

Whether the stock is worth anything is besides the point, why the fuck are they trying to compensate anything if they're an entirely different company? Sounds like a guilty conscious to me.
