I don't think that's too uncommon, is it? Long distance traveling on a ship isn't an exact science and if a ship shows up a week later than expected it's not a big deal.

This is odd though. They reported they were boarded and tied up and no one investigated further? Strange.

I can see where a week may not seem like that much but it was in contact after being attacked off Sweden, going through the English Channel and was sighted off Portugal. After the last sighting that leaves about 1000 miles to go, maybe less. Odd that no one tried to raise them via radio, ship to shore or Sat phone.
