Anyone have some tips for converting TGP traffic to $ales?

My TGP gets about 4k daily hits, and I don't make a red cent off of it. I'm considering something that -=HOAX=- suggested on KAC, but, I'm just wondering if there are any other ways to turn a dollar on these freeloaders.

I convert my TGP traffic with

using their mailer and/or magazines, because it pays $1.50/free email signup + $15/upsell from newsletters, for many niches, plus customized dialers. You get paid weekly.

I would go the free route, try CEMags, WEGcash and the program in my sig -- what i use for exit/404 traffic and make a decent wad.

The time spent thinking is time you could be spending working...and at the end of the day at the very least you have an avs site...instead of a few useless replies on GFY...

It should take you now longer than 4 hours...don't waste your time coming up with that one big money making site...do it all...build a foundation...

4k isnt very much traffic at all. If its SE traffic... what search terms are bringing in that traffic? Target your marketing to those search terms instead of giving the surfer a bunch of free galleries and links to other free sites.

fetish tgp

And quite a few other listings... These are just the most recent from the past 5 days.

I'm listed in the Yahoo Web Directory, Dmoz, Google, Altavista, AOL, Teoma and others.

The site has been up for 4+ years now. I just never focused on getting traffic to it, or promoting it.

Anyhow, as I mentioned to Hoax, I completely agree with him. I will just leave it alone, stop thinking about it, and get back to work. If anyone wants to discuss my site, I'm on ICQ, and will be working.

As a few other posters have mentioned, the way to go is sponsor hosted galleries. Why pay bandwidth or let other webmasters take all the signups, or piss the surfer off with loads of adverts?

I have found surfers click at my site a lot more when I have fewer adverts - so just drop them, and make your money on hosted galleries.

Most of these galleries are really well designed and convert well. The trick is to have a large variety of these from many different sponsors so the surfer does not get bored and move on - check my sig.

If you are still not making much money, you just need to crank things up a bit by making your site more productive, get some good trades, and fuel it all with some traffic from Choker.
