Intel Processors can anyone tell me if there really is a noticaeable difference...

For example: The obvious is the Ghz and FSB but in plain old usage is there a dramatic speed difference between these diff processors?

Intel® Core? 2 Duo E8600 (3.33GHz, 6M, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel® Core? 2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz, 6M, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel® Core? 2 Duo E8400 (3.0GHz, 6M, 1333MHz FSB)
Intel® Core? 2 Duo E7400 (2.8GHz, 3M, L2Cache, 1066FSB)

another +1 for e8400
*if you're into overclocking you can easily raise the clock to 3.8 with stock voltage - i'm currently using it.

QFT. The cache will make a significant difference. Slight differences in GHz only amount to single digit percentage differences most of the time...not enough to notice.
