We did form a partnership with Techie Media in November however it was dissolved when we decided it was not a good fit for the two companies. We still have all our hosting with Techie Media. Jim and Wayne are top notch and very good friends.

NATS and MPA are excellent platforms that a great many programs utilize. However, there are still thousands of excellent independent sites and programs that are direct with CCBill for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: decreased accounting complexity, ease of administration, affiliate base that trusts CCBill accounting and payment disbursement.

Unlimited everything! Fire Sale! Bandwidth, network services, datacenter and support have never costed anything and there surely is no difference amongst all of the providers out there. Hosts have just been tricking everyone for ages.

To be fair even if it increased sales by 6 joins a month they still would not break even unless they charged more than 25 a month and were not counting affiliate sales since honestly most are rev share, which would require 12 or more sales to break even. (I am leaving out re-bills of course).

As for time saving - that has me interested. Can you explain in detail how it will save 150.00 worth of time each month, over other scripts - many of which are one time purchases. Aftershock, you're just nit-picking... You seem to completely miss the point. You're clearly not the intended audience because you're a seasoned pro and because you enjoy this type of work. Most CCBill primary site owners and creators don't enjoy the webmaster or affiliate program owner part - they're passionate about their product but not about administrative work.

As to the first part, Tanker was simply giving an example. Whether it's 6 joins or 12 joins, with or without re-billing doesn't matter. The point is that there is an ROI to providing a robust set of affiliate marketing tools. CCBTools is ideal for tens of thousands of sites which in all of their infinite wisdom have little or nothing to offer affiliates in the way of tools, tools that can be shared easily, tools that are easy to implement or for that matter help lessen affiliate error.

For site owners that have already "hit it out of the park" and made their millions...... they must have already done something similar. For everyone else, they haven't arrived and most likely because they haven't figured out all of the details and by people's very nature most never will if left to tinker on their own.

As for the time saving - yes, this is absolutely time saving. Perhaps this isn't the product for you. Yes, this would be for the thousands of sites which currently don't have such tools or the money or interest or propensity for risk in attempting to procure "fairly cheap grunt labor". Jesus Christ, how many designers and programmers and grunt laborers have I dealt with in my tenure in adult that were just a throw away of money? I always valued my own time having to manage such things in addition to paying other someone else to do the heavy lifting. This concept is referred to as total cost of ownership and where you might have the knowledge and drive to build or buy so many separate things and roll it out cohesively for a program....... most don't. Me, I'm happy to buy a finished product. When I value my own time at hundreds an hour it doesn't matter how cheap the other labor is - it's my time that is not replaceable.

Everyone is different. For many this could fill a huge void and really help them to push their business forward.

Seriously, I'm with Mojo... and I 'm setting up ccbtools right now, I was just talking to ccbtools about such a program this afternoon. Then I come in here and see this thread... to funny.

BTW....Brad, seriously, I wish I would have made the move to you back when we first met I had no idea what I was missing. I was with my last host for 8 years and really like them, but you guys... well not even in the same ball park. Mad props to you.

On the ccbtool, as a total new user, one that has not even announced my new program, I can already see where the tools are WAY above what I was doing up till now. I'm really excited about the script and really look forward to working with it more and more. Now that this deal has happened, I can only sigh with relief knowing that I'm in good hands all the way around.

Was not even nitpicking. Actually had personal interest in the product and I also send others to many products when they ask my advice.
I did not care to much about member growth, hence even leaving out rebills.

I wanted some serious info on how it saves time with what it does for the value? To be blunt you have Nats and you have Woj's tools in the same arena, was not wanting to initially bring them up. One is monthly of course and another is a one time fee.
So please if not you brad, perhaps tanker - sell me what the features are and especially the time savers.

I am interested for my own use and I am interested as I have already sent a good 10-15 people this year alone to either or of the other scripts this year alone.

I was kind of grumpy when I made that post so I apologize if I seemed a bit harsh. I'm really just trying to be helpful. It's our mantra to do things that are helpful to our clients. Stuff like CCBTools, ProxyPass, ElevatedX, Wowza that I have been seen 'promoting' I don't actually have a stake in. As a web site host I'm just trying to empower my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful. Rather than compete on 1s and 0s or just price, it's my goal to add value as often as possible and have that be one of the differentiators for our service.

I think the best thing to do would be to do a demonstration of the product. I had one in Phoenix and was very impressed. Tanker and Elissa are the resident pros and I am sure they could do a more thorough job with a demo and explanation and perhaps conversation on the phone or over ICQ.

I wanted some serious info on how it saves time with what it does for the value? To be blunt you have Nats and you have Woj's tools in the same arena, was not wanting to initially bring them up. One is monthly of course and another is a one time fee. So please if not you brad, perhaps tanker - sell me what the features are and especially the time savers. I'm really just trying to be helpful. It's our mantra to do things that are helpful to our clients. Stuff like CCBTools, ProxyPass, ElevatedX, Wowza that I have been seen 'promoting' I don't actually have a stake in. As a web site host I'm just trying to empower my clients with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful. Rather than compete on 1s and 0s or just price, it's my goal to add value as often as possible and have that be one of the differentiators for our service. I think the best thing to do would be to do a demonstration of the product. I had one in Phoenix and was very impressed. Tanker and Elissa are the resident pros and I am sure they could do a more thorough job with a demo and explanation and perhaps conversation on the phone or over ICQ.
