Post something that you've done, or describe some area you believe you are good in. Maybe someone will throw you a few bucks for some work. No sense feeling bad for yourself. If you quit trying, then you are guaranteed to lose, but if you hang in there, maybe you will find some success.

Even if it is 100% fake optimism, you will be surprised how it can change things.

When I make posts like this and re-read them, it's almost as if I'm talking to myself. So many times I sit there and come up with amazing ideas or something and don't act on them. It is a fact that rough times bring out the best in everyone, if you waste the opportunity it will only bite you in the ass later on. I'm sure you already realize all of this, but sitting there and starring/thinking/day dreaming about it won't help, you need to actually get up, move your muscles, and start doing something. Once you get going you won't stop and you will feel great and wonder why you never did anything in the first place. And even then you will find yourself back in this same spot again, and you just have to remind yourself that doing nothing is doing just that... nothing.

What is taking a pill and chilling going to do? He's just going to be relieved for the day and wake up tomorrow feeling like shit again dude. You say you just QUIT your job? Maybe if you got fired or something I could feel some pity, but quitting a job no matter what you went through or the pay you got.. is just a stupid thing to be doing, especially now.
