Adult spam is bad because it can go to a kid, etc. I think email spammers who send adult spam are irresponsible in that regard. Besides, it's illegal and costs people money who have nothing to do with it.

I think TGPs are even worse. Not only do they let anyone see porn, meaning that kids will get easy access to it, but they're also bad for business. A glut of free porn only makes it harder for paysites to make money, and that's where all our money comes from, ultimately. In addition, leaving all this porn out there in the open will eventually come back to bite the industry in the ass in the form of government regulation.

Much as I hate the idea of the government even noticing us, I can't wait for that.

I don't blame people who run TGPs. I have no problem with them because they don't host the stuff themselves and are smart enough to make money from the labor of others. The regulation will affect them, but it will be directed against the gallery-makers, and that will help those of us who don't do this for beer money.

I know I bitch about TGPs in almost every post I make, but really, I'm not too concerned because I believe they will go away fairly soon.
