I know you don't have trials, but for some they work better.
Your site has exclusive content so once they see a unique video sample or unique pictures they are more willing to pay the full price. Unique or quantity is the choice alot of people have to make when buying content and setting up a paysite.

That would be really interesting to know. I have a feeling the only people who would have any insight to this are Visa and the big CC processors.

Brown Bear, good point. Any processors reading this thread have rough stats on what the industry's signups per day are as a whole?

I believe quiet has mentioned multiple times that he does not use ICQ. He cannot "hit you up" because he does not have the required software to do so.

If its 200,000 that would be 6 million people a month buying a porn membership. Seems a bit on the high side. Yet with all the sites and affiliate programs 200K a day seems like it would be a logical amount in total.

Well all I can say to that is if they are making you the most money for your traffic.
Then Props to them and you

then your doing the right thing but if you don't try other programs because your loyal to them. lets just say they have done a great job.

It was a simple question. Let me clarify and refine it for you:

Are you insinuating that you pull in more money than ARS each month?. Let's say over the past 12 months. Simple Yes or No will do.

I cannot answer that question because I don't know what their numbers are.
And I didn't post here to say I have the biggest cock I really don't give a fuck. what they make or anyone else.

And since when did I say I make more than anyone?

All I said if you think I pay to get ranked on http://www.thestatistician.com/03.html
your wrong we just make you the most off your traffic.

so what I was saying is if I paid to get ranked why doesn't anyone else do it?
I guess I pay to get ranked number 1 on ratethewebmaster as well.
I guess i pay to have friends. sucks for me

Estimates are that the current internet population is aprox. 600 million users. Around 300 million are from Europe and the US and they are financially interesting individuals for online merchants, however this number includes children.

Now we don't know how many of those people visit adult sites, how many of them are willing to pay for adult content - so its VERY hard to get a representative figure for daily or monthy adult paysite signups.

I'd say its nearly impossible to get a good overview of daily signups without the help of all the online creditcard processors, and I doubt they are willing to hand over that data.

Control, here's some data I found.

The number of Internet Users is expected to surpass 1 Billion sometime in the year 2005. (about 1 out of every 6 persons will be surfing the Net by then.)

That's one thing we all have to look forward to. Works out to about 400,000 new potential customers per day for the next 36 months.

Here are the current estimates in 2002.

Total Internet Users Worldwide - 580.78 million

Europe - 185.83 million

USA & Canada - 182.67 million

Asia/Pacific - 167.86 million

Latin America - 32.99 million

Africa - 6.31 million

Middle East 5.12 million

Those numbers are great, but it's too bad that most of the new users are going to be from countries that either don't have credit cards or are too poor to pay for porn.

Asia is where most of the growth will come from (especially China and India).

KRL,

Still there are too many figures we need to estimate how many daily signups paysites get. Since "sex" is one of the hottest online services, you would assume that a LARGE part of those +/-350 million surfers are interested in purchasing adult content.

Lets say for example that 10% of those 350 million are females and males who are interested in purchasing adult content online.
We now have a number of 35 million potential customers, but how do we know how many times a year they buy memberships to adult paysites?

1 a month = 35 million signups a month : 30 = 1.166.666 signups per day. I'd say thats too high ;-)

okay im sorry i think it is time to put an end 2 this debate

i recently got a 'red phone' call from pornkings and i called my other 4 sources to confirm that yes, all 5 of the biggest players on the internet agree that there is ONE internet entrepreneur who stands above all.

he has revolutionized marketing in so many ways it is impossible 2 keep this a secret any more. many of u knew this person before, but had no idea that he is actually the...

RICHEST PERSON ON THE INTERNET

and his name?

ALEX CHIU

sorry, but this thread was getting 2 controversial 4 me.

Control, I bet its in the 100,000 range. If you figure $30 just to keep the calculation simple and just a 1 month retaintion thats $3 Mil per day which takes us out to being that magical $1 Billion per year industry the media so often states us as being.

Yes, I'd say you are correct.

100,000 signups a day seems more like a reasonable number, but on the other hand I am still skeptical about any figure as its just too hard to verify with the current data available to us.

I can't figure out what you are trying to achieve in this thread. Obviously, you are either:

1. Spamming your shit.
2. Trying to make yourself look like a player.
3. Trying to get a date with quiet.
4. Some combination of the above.
