Seriously... If you discovered your best friend was a peado...
Theroriticallly... (I feel the need to say that but for obvious reasons...)
Imagine (Theoretically) that you lived in the USA for say 7 years, (illegally... Visa Overstay) and then got deported back to the UK... And you then discovered (TWO YEARS LATER) That the guy you were 'best friends with' (In the USA) was a peado... How would you feel? I'm not talking 'online stuff' (IE Downloading) but it turned out that he had been actually seeking out sex from under age kids... (Hes male... The Kids were also male... aged approx 12...) How would you feel about yourself, and your judge of character ? Even more so... Would you now question friends that you currently have ? (Even thought theres no real reason to question them?) Sorry if this thread is a bit serious... But Im also a bit freaked out! I would love a few opinions on this, if only to get my head around things.... Thanks in advance, and if Eric or Ice feel this is an inappropriate thread, I apologize... Im NOT trying to 'troll'... I'm just looking for some help.... |

Thats a tough one. I guess you cant blame yourself really since I feel people with that particular sexual fetish has learned to hide it very well. Some may not hide it well at all as you can make out from barefootsies post above. How often do you know someones fetish if they dont tell you or give any obvious signs?

you might be able to get away with like a talk to him if it was a few pictures on a computer and you were long time buddies, but if hes actively seeking out kids to molest then thats a giant leap he's made and he needs to be stopped

Its a tough situation but I would be freaked out. But I think if you know someone well enough you could pick up on these things sooner than other people... and needs to be stopped ASAP

Turns out that during the time I was hanging with him, and calling him a friend... He had also been out doing shocking, disgusting things.... AND I HAD NO IDEA... I feel sick to my stomach at the news... SICK AS A DOG... But now... Im looking at my UK friends with suspicion, and its doing my head in..... Anyway, Im off to bed now... Its half 1 in the morning in the UK and I'll check in this thread again tomorrow... Any advice, greatly appreciated... I just need help in coming to terms with the fact that someone I really cared about, TRUSTED and called a friend... Could have been doing such SICK FUCKING SHIT BEHIND MY BACK ! |

I know he was doing this, because he has been arrested and jailed for it... The arrest and court case etc, has happened during the past year... I only heard about it the other day... I AM NOT PROTECTING HIM... HE IS IN JAIL... I am looking to come to terms with this shit myself... |
