I dont get it,i take good care of my teeth and see dentist 3-4 times/year for checkups and woke up today with a throbbing toothache that wont go away

i tried gargling salt water,taking advils,and ice pack on side of my face and still feels like a dull screw driver is being driven into my head.ohhh the pain.

Need some home remedies.

Almost nobody has them other than old ladies, but if you have any Cloves in the house, suck on it - it's the same stuff that dentists use to dull the pain. And get to a dentist (always ask for gas).

you know I never understood that either, growing up I brushed 3x a day I really took care of my teeth, my sister never brushed hers I would get all the cavities, she never had 1. I think it's whats your blessed with.

That is so true...my brother also has perfect teeth,and rarely ever visits a dentist,meanwhile i go to a dentist 3-4 times a year gettn drilled and stabbed just to keep them healthy.

You may have an abscess. The symptoms (jaw/ear pain) can come on fast and the infection can spread into your brain and kill you so I would suggest making an appointment to see a dentist on Monday.

Go to the dentist. It's most likely an infection that will only get worse the more you fuck with it. They'll give you some pills to take for 2 weeks and it will go away.

A lot of places have emergency dentists available. Check around. The only thing the ER can do for you is give you pain meds. You probably need a root canal, although I'm surprised your dentist wouldn't have noticed something building if you go that many times a year. I know people who brush daily and never floss that rarely get cavities and people who do the same that end up having to get teeth pulled. It has a lot to do with genetics.
