She's your 'x'... this means no longer any committment... She has no right nor reason to have any say in the matter should you choose to take her friend.
If she has a problem with it, then she's admitting there's more to her feelings for you than she lets you know. Don't do it! A good friend of mine was here before and this is what happened.
He did the bestfriend of his Ex and they both keeped it from her. Well the Ex knew something was up and found out about it. She kicked her bestfriends ass and ended the friendship with him. The bestfriend then dumped the guy and asked for her friend to forgive her and that she messed up and she was wrong. The girls then ganged together and made his life a living hell. Trashed is car, his house and called his boss and told him things about him. Don't piss off a women and play games like this unless you understand all can get hurt even you! I would play it cool and just be friends for now. Then take them both out for a night of fun and drinking. Then at the end of the night go to your house and maybe play spin the bottle with them. If things are going to happen it will. So you just might get your 3some and all had fun.
