Yup - Zork on the C-64, Hunt the Wumpus on the TI-99. Those are my earliest computer game memories for sure.

funny how in the title you ask "computergame ever" and then in your post you ask "pc" :1orglaugh

not counting arcades or pong, I'd have to say pac-man on the apple ][

I liked Bard's Tale (it was a dungeons and dragons game) and Pool of Radiance (same deal) and I had one where there was a dude and you moved him left and right and he balanced balloons on his head.

ZOMG! Gold Box Games! I think I still have those... :1orglaugh

I was a Coleco kid and my mom still has my console. I don't know if it works but it is always fun to see it sitting there in the shed when I go home. We also had the Adam computer thing they put out but it broke on maybe the third time we used it.

Apple IIc

My 5th grade teacher let me copy Wheel of Fortune, then I played the hell out of that. I guess she never saw the Don't Copy that Floppy announcement. :1orglaugh

I had all those game show games for my Apple IIe. I remember playing the heck out of Family Feud. Then there were the Winter and Summer Games.

What was your first ever favorite pc game. One that you played and played and played over and over again for the first time.

Would be nice to post either screenies or videos about it, and if you can, on what computer you played it!

Nibbles.

386x Compaq running Windows 3.0 and DOS.

I use to play Wizardry, Kings Quest, Ultima....

TripleXPrint 11-06-2008 12:39 PM

Did anyone here ever play Krull on their PC? The game was as cheesy as the movie but was fun as hell.

The first EVER was sticky bear, which I played in like 1st grade computer class.

The first game I ever enjoyed playing was Oregon Trail or Pitfall. Maybe the repetitive Kung Fu game.

The first game I REALLY got into was Duke Nukem 3d. I loved that game.

I loved that game. My brother and I finished it on the C-64. We actually had hooked up our C-64 to the VCR so we could tape the game play for making notes and stuff about where things were. Yeah I know, ubergeek. :)

webair 11-06-2008 01:22 PM

utopia on intellivision
summer games on c=64
Tank battle on atari

HomerSimpson 11-06-2008 01:32 PM

Calico Jack 11-06-2008 01:55 PM

Bubble Bobble and Ultima IV on my Amiga 500. I remember paying almost $1000 at the time for an extra 1/2 megabyte of memory and a 20 mb hard drive!
I played those games for days and days...and then I discovered Sim City. I lost weeks at a time to it.

Marcus Aurelius 11-06-2008 01:58 PM

OMG... Memories. ROCKET RANGER!!

Marky333 11-06-2008 02:01 PM

My first PC game was Strip Poker 3. It was the best game.

Telly 11-06-2008 02:04 PM

dready 11-06-2008 02:04 PM

On PC? I'd say Civilization on my 286.

SarahLLO 11-06-2008 02:06 PM

Oregon Trail, Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego, Animal Quest (this DOS game where you were a predator and had to go through courses and find prey), and HUGO'S HOUSE OF HORRORS!

LadyMischief 11-06-2008 02:15 PM

I loved Leisure Suit Larry and the Zorkk games. :)
