Russia packed up and left how many nations peacefully and quietly? And what do they get in return? NATO in their face and hostility. Indeed Putin is a dictator, and far from a perfect character, nor is the nation, but America should be careful not to push them into the cold again. Russia is a friend of Europe and in turn the US, all the really want is some motherfucking respect in their own region. When Russia starts deploying missiles in Mexico and supporting a Latin American socialist military bloc than I think you might finally understand what the US has done to them.

They don't appreciate it, and while the US could wipe them off the map in theory, Russia knows with its nuclear weapons, Europe's reliance on energy and an unwillingness to accept large numbers of deaths of soldiers in the US or Europe it will never happen. So why the fuck shouldn't they push back and demand that the US respect their interests?

i have one question...why the fuck is the US the one putting the missiles up to protect areas in other countries. let the European countries build their own missile defenses with their own money. It is always amusing to hear Russians whose economy is in the midst of a catastrophic collapse running their mouths about how the US is going down the drain. Take a 20 minute drive outside of Moscow and see the villages with dirt roads and the millions of desperate people in crumbling Soviet housing blocks trying to get by on a few dollars a day and you will understand the real Russian economic situation.

My point was about the perception of weakness that the election of Obama gives to America's enemies and how it will encourage them to make more aggressive maneuvers. You really think Russia over night decided to just on a whim to deploy their missiles? No they have been planing it for weeks and would have done it regardless of whom was voted into office.

Do you not recall their deployment into the waters just south of the US over the last month or so? Do you not remember their restarting of bomber flights months ago? Russia is feeling inadequate in the world these days and are trying to do anything to be noticed.
