Epoch Rebills/Conversions not reporting the last couple of days...

Just in case people were wondering why stats have been looking so bad the last couple of days, Epoch has a note in their merchant account stats that say they are fixing the issue with rebills not reporting correctly.

I was pulling my hair out until I saw that.

btw... Epoch is the primary processor for MovieRoom, so if your stats look like crap for the last two days... it's not my fault!

I figured it was the economy ;-)

Although I'm sure some of the slowdown I'm seeing is attributed to that.

I am glad you posted and I didn't have to.. very scary when someone is holding your rebills in their database and hasn't sent em over yet.

Was shocked no one said anything on sunday when it started, I figured I'd see 100 epoch/sky is falling threads.

I highly doubt they use Epoch.

I'm glad someone started this thread since not everyone realizes the situation. Kinda weird seeing 0's when you don't expect it LOL.

there was no announcement, they only tell you if you call and ask WTF is going on.. which is why I'm close to hitting the panic button unless I see some sort of formal announcement go out to their client list, you figure by day 3 we would have gotten one since most account make their money on rebills not initials.

What he said.

Either it's Epoch problem or the sponsors are shaving the regular sales cause they're aren't getting rebills.

just called again, got a "There's nothing to worry about" response and was pointed to the statement listed on their stats pages for merchants which was the same.

I have taken action, that is all I will say on the matter.

To all:

For those who haven't seen the notice inside of Epoch reports, it reads as follows:

======================

Epoch Service Notice - Reports Undergoing Maintenance

Epoch is performing an update to its reporting servers due to an error in code that propagated to all of our servers.

Please note that all services including the processing of orders will continue normally. However, Epoch reports may not reflect properly for the next 72 hours while all servers are being updated. Clients receiving post-back data for initial orders will continue to do so. Recurring orders may be slightly delayed but will return to normal once the update is complete.

This is strictly a reporting issue and we will resolve it as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

-- The Team at Epoch

======================

To clarify, there has been no interruption in processing whatsoever. There are no issues with settlements or payouts. This is purely a technical issue on our part. We are even taking advantage of the opportunity to make some improvements.

If you have any specific questions, please contact your account representative or you may write to me.

Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Server Update Complete

The server updates related to Epoch's reporting engine have been completed.

As of October 8, 2008 all financial and statistical reports have been populated with current data and are functioning normally.

In some cases, recurring members who were due to rebill during the last 2-4 days may have had their rebill date moved to October 8, 2008.

Trials, conversions, rebills, and cancellations are reporting accurately.

Additional Note:

If you have been using Epoch's previous reporting interface at https://epoch.com/reports, please note that effective October 10, 2008 this interface will be discontinued.

All Epoch clients will use EpochStats for reports by logging into:
https://epochstats.com/

Affiliate reports are located at:
https://epochstats.com/webmasters/

If you have any comments or questions about your reports, please contact your account representative or write to [email protected].

Clarification: All data will be fully populated by end of day today.

The earlier post should have stated the population was under way.

Sorry for the confusion.
