:mad Globill just made me pissed off !!!!!!

I asked them when I could expect 3 new checks of them as they were all bounced lately! They already had promised me that they were sending me new ones. In fact they didn't do anything at all. Read what fucked up message I just received from them:

Hi,

We have verified that the funds have left our account. We are not saying that your check is not NSF but we need to investigate further in order to solve the discrepancy.

In order to authenticate the NSF, we must ask you to please snail mail the ORIGINAL check (not a copy) that you claimed was returned NSF. We apologize for this but it is a necessary security measure as we have recently had a few cases where unscrupulous webmasters have attempted to take advantage of this glitch. They mocked up checks in Photoshop with "NSF" printed on them and sent us those via email or fax in an attempt to cash in on this problem. We later determined that their checks were not in fact NSF.

Please mail the original NSF check (not a copy) to us so we can authenticate the check. As soon as we verify that the check is legitimately NSF, we will send out a replacement payment.

Please mail to:

Glo-Bill.com
Attn.: Accounting
1255 Treat Blvd.
3rd Floor
Walnut Creek, CA 94597

In the meantime, please rest assured that all checks sent to you dated October 1, 2002 or later are drawn on our new bank and you will have no problem depositing these.

FUCK THAT ! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE MY FUCKING CHECKS DID BOUNCE ALL !! It's impossible that they have verified their shit. They should have a copy of cashed checks at their bank!

Do they really think that I don't have other things to do then sending them bounced checks by postal mail and waste my time with email correspondence??

I few days ago I posted a message about their wonderfull service. Well fuck that, they are degraded to the worst !

GLOBILL and send my money !

Hmmm, if you send the checks back, how would you prove they bounced if you didn't get your money for them?

Did you read my post or didn't you? I'm not going to write a letter and walk to the post office. Globill made a mistake and they are going to solve it by theirselves. They should ask a copy of my "cashed checks" at their bank if they think they are cashed.

after reading my post I think I worded it wrong

I meant to say redeposit the checks

everytime they bounce they get charged at least 15 bucks

I have redeposited checks up to four times before my bank wouldn't allow me to do so anymore

inform yourself about banking procedures.
yes, they can ask their bank for a copy. but it's just that, a copy. and it'll take a few weeks for the bank to return it to them, and there will be a fee.
alternately, you can mail the check and they can check the authenticity within 3-4 days.

quit your whining. if you had time to post this whiny rant up here and the reply to it, you had more than enough time to put the checks in the envelope and drop in the mailbox on the way to get more milk for your bottle.

for those wondering how he'd prove it without copies, he has a bank statement which shows the check bouncing from Globill and an NSF fee as well.

I agree with psyko514...Get off your ass and do it...Globill is not a bad company, nor are the negligent for asking...As usual with bank switches, there are bound to be problems...It sucks that you got sucked in, but deal with it.

Go to your bank...Have them FAX (with the banks letter head) showing all the info concerning the checks...Also, include the fee's you were charged, Globill WILL refund them...Just ask...But, getting all pissed off and not willing to work with them, is going to make your life hell and make them want to help you less...If you must send the actual returned checks, do so...Ship it via FedEx.

Sitting here bitching, whining and moaning is going to do nothing.

Globill will work for you and do their best, but you have to work with them as well.

Just by sending the originals does not negate his ability to prove the checks NSF'd...He has bank statements and can make photocopies of the checks themselves...Both would be legally binding...If Globill has reason to suspect fraud, they have a right to ask for the checks, even the originals...You are in a contract with Globill, but you also remember they are in contract with you as well...If you made the money, they have to pay you...Plain and simple.

Actually when someone makes good on an nsf check they get the check back, and the transaction is concluded. If someone accepts partial payment on an nsf check, they are no longer entitled to take the issuer to court to collect the money. And if you do not have the nsf check, just try getting a court to schedule a hearing, they don't since you have no proof of the check not being made good.

Having the bank send them something is a good idea, but I wouldn't give up the checks....

never send originals, never, never, never. you'll get screwed if they decide to "forget they got them".

send them copies. they can put out stop payments on those and then issue new ones. it's their mistake, they can eat the stop payment cost.

This is what I got from them last Wednesday. Haven't got the check yet but it should be here this week I guess. I usually get an email from them after I post about this problem.

Thanks for your patience. Regarding your returned GloBill check, we have resolved this matter with our bank and have dropped a replacement check in the mail today so you should be receiving it shortly. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience for this banking error. As a reminder, all checks after October 1st are drawn on our new banks and those will have no problems passing.

If you have any further questions or concerns about the issue, please let us know.

Best Regards,
Rick Janisewski

I want to make clear that I already took time for them to scan my bounched checks. These are very clear scans. Then they told me that they would send a new check and didn't do a thing at all. I was the one who asked where my new check was. And now they tell me they can't send me a new check because of "PhotoShop fraud".

It's about the whole thing of taking care about this matter (or better say not taking care about it) what pisses me off.

I take Kimmykims advice and don't send them my original bounced checks

I had a single bounced check from GloBill (first one in all the years I have used them). I also sent in a scan and they emailed me later saying they needed the original. I mailed in the original and four days later they sent me a replacement check.

What's the big deal? Just send them in the bad check so they can authenticate it and they will send you a new check. You have your bank statement as "proof" if you ever really needed that.

Bingo. Sounds pretty shady.

I had a small $17 check bounce from Globill. Maybe I'll call them about it tommorrow. I haven't recieved a replacement check either. No big deal, but I did earn the $17.

Exactly I think a bank manager qualifys as a notary public have them notarize the copies and send Globill the originals.

I just received a nice message of an Globill employee and she wrote me:

"I forwarded your email to my manager and he took a look at your account history. As you have been with GloBill for some time and have no prior negative notes on your account and the scans you already provided us are quite clear, we will send you a replacement check tomorrow.

As you have been a good client for Glo-Bill in the past with no negative issues concerning your account, we will trust you on your claim and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."

Thanks Globill fortunately being a honest webmaster still has its advantages. You now made my day

For Christ's Sake just do what they ask. I think you're enjoying making a fuss more than you'll enjoy getting the money they owe you. They are a business, and their business isn't helping you prove a point, whatever that may be.

They had probs... Visa, the new system and the move...

I'm still waiting for about $35 from August sales.
(not even a check yet, so atleast I didn't get dinged
NSF)

It's all on their paper records, things will straighten
out soon.
