I have used and will continue to use CT as my thumb script even with what I consider are issues. I have tried many different thumb scripts. CT is the only one that does what it does. There are other scripts that are thumb scripts and you have nowhere near the advanced features and thumb control with any other script that you do with CT. What I meant by "full of holes" is not vulnerability 'holes', just small nagging things that are not working, like help pops, help icons, dead help pages etc. I didn't mean server or script security holes.. Also, I was told that the licenses don't go down if the licensing server goes away. I have other scripts with remote licensing and they do go down. Thanks, YP. |

There really is no "current situation".
No one seems to figure a mofo can use the board/forum search function and get a million posts about how to fix an issue without waiting...DO THEY? NOPE...post on the board and have a support guy/girl do the work for ya...easy hunh?! THAT'S RIGHT you "other" support peeps on this board...I said what you all were thinking but didn't have the balls to say!

It is true, sometimes we get completely swamped trying to balance support, development and the various challenges of our own lives. There are 5 of us supporting Comus and sometimes that isn't even enough, especially if I'm called offline for a week or two.
Lately I've been thinking what I'd really like to find is someone in the industry who is interested in partnering up and/or financing development further in the comus brand and product line. The existing Comus install base amounts to thousands of sites and millions of surfers across the network. So the potential to leverage this to generate sales for your existing program is huge. But more exicting is the potential for new products to expand this reach further as the Comus code base has the solution to just about every type of product you can imagine, including blog, trade, tube, search, banner rotation, member content rotation, gallery builder, traffic flow, protection, spot sales, advertising management, etc etc. It just needs some dedicated programming and development talent assigned to it which frees the existing team for support issues. Anyone interested in discussing how we could work together send me a private message at the comus forum, or an email at (support at comusthumbs dot com)

They, by their own admission, have taken a week off to suck cock or whatever for their labor day vacation and not answering to people who have paid for their license. So you can suck me now too! Visit their forum for verification |

He was gone and couldn't support a guy who paid him cash for his program. I will find the link from their forum if they haven't deleted it. |

I use Comus on all my sites and Im happy with it. Their are a few things that annoy me but, for the most part, its a very good 'hands off' script. Ir runs all by its self with no human intervention once you set it up correctly.
