Not true. The Rasmussen poll hit more Democrats than Republicans actually.

Rasmussen polling was roughly:

40% Democrats
32% Democrats
28% Unaffiliates

Here's the breakdown on Palin favorability:

Republicans 89%
Democrats 33%
Non affiliated 59%

If you multiply the percentages by affiliation and sum you'll get the same 58% Rasmussen got.

Hillary isn't going to attack Palin. She's going to focus on issues and McCain.

The polls are probably accurate. I have a favorable opinion of Palin in spite of her more wacky personal views because she's easy on the eyes and she delivered a good speech on a big night. The more we actually hear from her, the more this may change. Her campaign trail is sounding very repetitive thus far as she's just re-reading her convention speech to local audiences.

Maybe she'll surprise everybody and be the most amazing interviewee and debator of all candidates in the coming weeks.

The average national poll error in predicting the general result on the eve of election has been 1.8% since 1988. This includes 19 national poll results in both 2000 and 2004.

I think there is a lot of useful information in these polls and a lot of great insights to be gained. Especially when one looks at all the polls and not just one.

Seems like a reach for Hillary to think she can come back and beat Obama in
another primary. Remember, the thing that gave Hillary such a good start was
having all those pledged delegates before the primary even started.
I think next time around those delegates will not be with her.
