    McCain got Hillary pissed off.

Looks like McCain didn't think out the VP thing too good.

Picking Palin to be the first female vp only made Hillary mad enough to really start feeling
    like pumping up Obama.

Hillary was more like "yeah, Obama, ok" but now watch her be like "Go Obama, KILL!".

Hillary don't like another female muscling in on her territory of "Top female in the world".

it was the smartest decision mccain made so far. the whole media is talkin abt palin now. the media would have been talkin about obama but mccain took the spotlight away from him. the republican campaign was dying and he revived it.

Palin is not the 1st female VP candidate. Ferraro was.

What is supposed to happen tomorrow? Hillary pretty much avoided saying anything about Palin yesterday.

Hmm, Hillary Clinton ducks chance to attack new GOP star Sarah Palin

Not clear it would make sense for her to make too negative comments about Palin when she still has her own political career. According to Rasmussen poll yesterday Palin is viewed favorably by 58% of likely voters.

They only poll old republicans that allready voted. Um people who will make the difference in this election are not polled. Nice try though.

Not true. The Rasmussen poll hit more Democrats than Republicans actually.

                    Rasmussen polling was roughly:

                    40% Democrats
                    32% Democrats
                    28% Unaffiliates

Here's the breakdown on Palin favorability:

                    Republicans 89%
                    Democrats 33%
                    Non affiliated 59%

If you multiply the percentages by affiliation and sum you'll get the same 58% Rasmussen got.

Hillary isn't going to attack Palin. She's going to focus on issues and McCain.

The polls are probably accurate. I have a favorable opinion of Palin in spite of her more wacky personal views because she's easy on the eyes and she delivered a good speech on a big night. The more we actually hear from her, the more this may change. Her campaign trail is sounding very repetitive thus far as she's just re-reading her convention speech to local audiences.

Maybe she'll surprise everybody and be the most amazing interviewee and debator of all candidates in the coming weeks.

The average national poll error in predicting the general result on the eve of election has been 1.8% since 1988. This includes 19 national poll results in both 2000 and 2004.

I think there is a lot of useful information in these polls and a lot of great insights to be gained. Especially when one looks at all the polls and not just one.

Under no circumstances does Hillary want Obama to win.

If Obama wins that's potentially 8 more years until she can run.

But what if Obama loses and runs again too?

Seems like a reach for Hillary to think she can come back and beat Obama in
another primary. Remember, the thing that gave Hillary such a good start was
having all those pledged delegates before the primary even started.
I think next time around those delegates will not be with her.

So you favor her simply because she is attractive and talks a good game, even though she's a whackjob who puts her political career before her own family, yet wants to tell citizens how to raise their families?

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.
