But they had Palin's daughter and the kid that knocked her up on stage the other night like they were great role models. Did you see it. It was like they were congratulating that kid for winning the lottery or something ( I guess in a way he did). It was pretty creepy. Palin is under fire because McCain is 71 years old and has had Melanoma four times. She has a much higher than average chance of having to take over so she needs to be looked at in a critical way. |

All I know is intrade only moved +0.2 for both of them today with Obama at 60 and McCain at 40.
Democrat for president moved +0.6 leaving it at 61.8. Intrade has been pretty fucking accurate and well at this point in time with very heavy volume if the speech was supposed to reach out to all Americans it did not reach hard enough. Perhaps we shall see a move tomorrow and then in all fairness give it at least until Monday for the news outlets to rip it apart, spin it, or promote it to the public. |

There are many experts that think that the abortion rate has dropped over the last 20 years because sex ed has become a common thing in schools so there are less and less unwanted pregnancies. It sounds find a good to leave it up to the parents, but many parents suck and leave their kids in the dark. If their parents are going to give them the tools to make good decisions with someone else needs to. Also, I understand that McCain is not the oldest candidate and maybe he will be fine. But he has had melanoma, which is the most deadly form of skin cancer you can get, four times. His medical records are nearly 500 pages deep. The guy is not the picture of perfect health. |
