If you take Viagra and a pack of cherry life savers and crush them in a blender for 55 minutes on high speed and then lay it out onto wax paper and let dry for 16 hours then sprinkle with vodka and place into a microwave for 12 minutes and then place into a glass of Alka Seltzer mix that into a glass of beer and set it aside cause it'll make you sick, but in two days, I have no doubt you will be feeling fine by then.

Actually, to be honest, they really work if you do it correctly. I can't recall the ones we took in New Orleans, however, the thing is, you never feel "tanked." You must take them with your first drink, then you are solid.

I have to say they worked amazing.

Chaser and shit like that only work if you don't drink very often and only drink a little when you do drink. That is what I am told anyway, I drink like a fucking fish all the time. If you followed the directions on those packages you would be popping between 2-3 pills every half hour--not good.

The only anti-hangover pills that actually work are the ones that contain "activated carbon" (a.k.a. charcoal).

I've used the Chaser brand pills for a couple of years.

I notice a huge difference between the nights that I remember to take the pills and the nights that I forget (which I don't let happen too often anymore).

You'll still feel a bit tired the next day since drunk sleep isn't as restful but that's about it.

You can get Chaser in most any pharmacy or supermarket.

I've recently switched to the "Hangover Stopper" brand since the pills are so much less per unit especially when I buy the 10 bottle packs which is a total of 600 pills.

The only other side effect I should mention is that your crap is dark black the next day. But that's a small price to pay for feeling like a rock star the next morning.

But I don't just depend on the pills, most nights I try to remember to chug a bottle of water after every few stiff drinks.

Then in the morning, I drink a water bottle with an Emergen-C multi-vitamin powder & an Alka Seltzer Morning Relief tablet (contains caffeine, antacid, & aspirin) mixed in.

That routine keeps me feeling well enough to continue shooting content & partying even after 6 weeks of non-stop Spring Break.

They still work even if you drink a lot. We've tested them thoroughly over the years.

Yeah, their "recommended dosage" is a bit ridiculous. I only take about 6 pills per night.

I take 2 pills with my first drink, then 2 more in the middle of the night after 3-6 stiff cocktails, and 2 more near the end of the night after another 3-6 liquor drinks.

The Chasers & other charcoal pills aren't actually bad for you. But they do absorb nutrients & vitamins along with the hangover causing toxins in alcohol which are called "cogeners".

That's why I take an Emergen-C vitamin packet and eat a good breakfast the morning after to put all that good stuff back in my body.

The only real 'cure' is drinking a lot of water and electrolytes. It's your body's response to being dehydrated. You would feel the same way if you were on a desert and had no water.

They work because charcoal absorbs the toxins in alcohol that are created by the fermentation process.

I worked at a vet's office for a few years in high school.

Every time a dog or cat that had licked up anti-freeze or some other toxic chemical was brought in to the hospital, we'd pump some activated charcoal down into their stomachs.

I totally understand that you'd be skeptical. I thought it was bullshit too till I tested them out for myself. Most of the hangover pills are crap, but the charcoal ones do work.

You're right about the water & electrolytes but the pills make a huge difference.

I feel like I'm preaching about this stuff. Just get some of the Chaser or Sobr'K Hangover Stopper activated charcoal pills and try it out for yourself. I won't party without them.
