As a console designer this idea should concern me, but fortunately I know that there are tons of ways to pop consoles WITHOUT Java. I've downloaded lots of popup blocker programs and defeated them with simple code. It's not that hard to do and most webmasters with half a brain can do it with just a little research. Let Earthlink or AOL try to block consoles. I'll have them beat in a few days. They are restricted by having to make sure they do not block TOO much so that gives us a lot of freedom to beat their simple blocking methods.

I have done a lot of console research over the past several years and I have a really damn good idea how much consoles contribute to most large sponsors' bottom line.
If consoles were eliminated the effects on this biz could be as bad as whatever the new Visa regulations might cause. A console-free adult biz would NOT be pretty.

Of course, you all know that the very host of this bbs sells a internet eraser program that many of the webmasters on this board promote. And what does this program erase...cookies..and what happens when a surfer revisits a site after the cookies have been erased..your affiliate number is no longer associated with any joins...so you lose out on the commission.
