The Republican party is known as the conservative party, within that party there are the far right conservatives, which includes the Christian Coalition and far right conservatives are by far in the minority within the Republican Party. Moderate Republicans constitute the over whelming majority within the Republican Party. There is barley a dimes worth of difference between a moderate Democrat, which is the over whelming majority of Democrats, and a moderate Republican.

In a political campaign the survey people are sent in weeks, even months in advance, to the area where the candidate will be giving his campaign speech. The survey people learn what the concerns of the people are in that area, turn this information over to the speech writers, and the candidate in turn delivers the speech which in essence tells the people what they want to hear to garner their vote. I new he was a totally ingnorant hypocrite asshole and liar within 10 days of him taking office, - but that makes ya throw up. If that is actually a fair estimation (which I doubt!) of what level the US has reached, - there ain't any hope. Sure as hell he did not write that shit - just incapable and an idiot for accepting the wording. Suppose it beats his usual dribbling utterances and rhetoric. For God's sake US.. open your eyes and get some leadership! Time for a "regime change"! This time in the US which is now no more than another "rogue state"!

How Bush ever got half-elected in the first instance is way beyond me. They guy was not even qualified to do fuck all - he must be the least qualified leader the the western world.
