I think I know that you are a smarter Aborigine than that. Politicians say what they think their targeted aduience wants to hear. In a political campaign the survey people are sent in weeks, even months in advance, to the area where the candidate will be giving his campaign speech. The survey people learn what the concerns of the people are in that area, turn this information over to the speech writers, and the candidate in turn delivers the speech which in essence tells the people what they want to hear to garner their vote. Of course you know all of this so stop being a silly Aborigine.
