I don't know that a tie would be necessary, but I would for sure wear slacks, button down and a jacket.
Sounds like an interesting event. Enjoy.

Probably a blazer and nice pants would be good

Definitely time to break out a suit, man.
Jeans would probably make you feel under-dressed, if you're concerned about such things. Black tie (while perhaps overdoing it, imho) would probably be more in-line with the dress code than jeans and a polo shirt. Personally, I'd wear a suit and tie to the event while escorting my lady in a cocktail dress and jacket (assuming it's close to "chilly"). edit: and, if you decide you'd rather ditch the tie later on, it's always easier to remove one and stick it in your jacket's pocket than it is to put one on in the men's bathroom... ![]()

I strongly suggest NOT to wear jeans,
You can do more of a sporty suit and I believe even tie isn't all that neccessary, but no jeans, no trainers, and colour combination in place.. (may sound weird from someone with my current avatar, but I do actually wear suit a lot)

Well Vegas is a crazy place but I really DO assume there won't be no standing, no shouting, no cell phone ringing, no whistling.
The only moment you could actually stand up is to express the thanks to the philharmonians after the show is finished. I wish to have a wife with Led Zeppelin as a favourite band btw., that's an immediate turn on..
