I just got the following email from Purity Scan:

Secondly, as we promised all along, we will finally be moving our servers to a provider that can keep up with our ever-increasing bandwidth needs. This move will tentatively be completed toward the end of this week, and we will notify you if there will be any downtime. We are confident that once this move is complete, you will see a significant rise in your earnings. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the PuritySCAN team at [email protected].

If you did not get this email, then you should contact them. (Their old server had a few problems once their bandwidth skyrocketed.) A few bumps here and there is normal for any startup program, but to pay out for down time kicks ass. With there new faster servers, our downloads (and money) should increase too.

Yeah it 'phones home' from time to time, without even running the application (as long as you install it). It calls itself "Winservs.exe", I *think*.

They pay you for downtime. Every startup has bumps here and there. Most startsup do not pay you for those bumps though. Purity Scan does.
