![]() My registrar recently turned off one of my domains ( null routed ) because they didn't like that i had wildcard subdomains turned on.
The issue was that they said their trademarked name pointed to a page thru wildcard subdomains. basically mysite looks like this www.mysite.com they didnt like that i had wildcard subdomains turned on meaning anything.mysite.com pointed to a page much like the following drop pages godaddy uses for parked domains http://pepsi.e--z.com http://namecheap.e--z.com do you think the registrar is right or wrong ?

Which registrar did this? I find this as an issue between the trademark holder and the domain holder, not the registrar.

thats where the issue gets fuzzy , the trademark holder is my registrar so it would be like if my registrar was godaddy and http://godaddy.e--z.com resolved to exactly what you see and i own www.e--z.com on that page is godaddy drop page but if lets say i had the same type of drop page , directnic is pissed and null routed the domain simply because the subdomain resolved to a drop page

What if you made a blacklist of subdomains where directnic.yourdomain.com would not resolve. Would that make them happy?
