Just an FYI. Apple is by far not the only company making products that have a non-replaceable battery. For example I bought a Logitech mouse for about $100 over a year ago that has one. I did not realize it at the time but its not been a problem. It still holds a charge very well.

You get a new phone every 2 years anyway, isn't that about the life of the device?
I'm sure the thinking goes along those lines when they design these products.

Furthermore don't all these "Iphone killer" devices have one?

Windows Mobile is the biggest piece of shit I've ever used.

I dropped 500 bucks on an HTC phone a couple of years ago. Within 2 months, I gave it to my little cousin and dropped another 600 bucks on a Blackberry.

Blackberry and Iphone's OS > Windows Mobile

You are right, I've never replaced a phone battery, if the battery is dieing, it's probably time to buy a new phone anyway...
