Just an FYI. Apple is by far not the only company making products that have a non-replaceable battery. For example I bought a Logitech mouse for about $100 over a year ago that has one. I did not realize it at the time but its not been a problem. It still holds a charge very well.
You get a new phone every 2 years anyway, isn't that about the life of the device?
I'm sure the thinking goes along those lines when they design these products.
Furthermore don't all these "Iphone killer" devices have one?
