Because most .exe files are viruses and malware, especially when they're freely available on the net as a direct link. A lot of people's computers won't even allow them to download files hosted like that.

Perhaps not intentionally, but what if she was infected and didn't know it? There's been plenty of times that someone in this industry has been affected by a virus or trojan.

It's safe, wallpapers are .exe as they need to be run as its animated its not a desktop background (image)
