Oh wow, that's quite a lot. I lived in Holland for a few years and I remember she had a tv show for kids that I used to watch (this was like back in the 80's). I was just curious about how much dutch celebs make in comparison to american ones.

I bet this guy is also going to make much more because all these media outlets are buying his story.

and a Billionaire He's the man behind Big Brother, Fear Factor and LOTS of
other world wide best selling formats. He runs the Entertainment Company EndeMol together

Yes, I have heard of him! I know that Big Brother came from Holland! I didn't know Fear Factor came from Holland too though.

How come all dutch people speak english so good? I know most dutch people are fluent in eglishh, but I took 3 years of spanish in high school and I'm not fluent in spanish at all.

Also, that Joran guy seems very smart. He's good at lying and kept most of his story straight and knew to continue with his regular routine the next day so he wouldn't be noticed such as go to school and gamble so the casino can get him on camera etc.

What was Joran doing in Aruba? Was he on vacation as well?

They teach English in Dutch Schools. Most of the Dutch guys I know speak several languages, and they do it well. English is _the_ language of business, and the Dutch aren't stupid, they want their children to speak it.

- school. Some schools start with basic English at 10yo
- radio, pretty much all the music is English
- TV, 80% of the TV shows and 99% of the movies are English. We don't dub over, we subtitle. So from a very early age people listen and read and subconsiously match the words up.

The last bit probably is responsible for the high level of English.

update

The guy who Joran claimed helped disposing of the body - Daury Rodriguez - has reported himself to the dutch authorities. Hes no friend he says and when this suppose to happen he was in Holland working and has proof he was.

So the whole I walked back home story and Daury dumped her deal looks like another lie.

Only something crazy like 5% of Dutch people use marijuana on a regular basis, so you're not going to find him there either. Being the nice guy he is, you'll probably find him in a nursing home. It seems to be that way in quite a lot of european countries but I noticed Dutch people in general are REALLY good in English, like even better than some Americans (who should be better in English because it's their first language) and that's kinda scary.
