I think its because his career image was of this lover of ladies and it would ruin it. Gm might of been right dont see no hits no more and its a shame he was one of the greatest songwriters of our time.

Well, his hissy fit over holding out over his contract hurt him. These days he keeps getting arrested for passing out at the wheel of his car and things like that.
