It is disjointed. Here is how I interpret what he is saying.

Since man is created in Gods image, if God didnt make his exact duplicate until he created woman... he is trying to insinuate that God is a woman.

But that cant be true because God does not make mistakes by his very definition. Therefore God is a man. duh.

Heh, well it's easy to see who among us is catholic/christian. The differences in the ways jews percieve, understand and have a relationship with their God is so different.. I'm not religious myself, but the contrasts fascinate me.

For one, jews don't see their God as being able to do anything and everything, things are are illogical such as making a rock that He cannot move are not possible.

Additionally, God isn't necessarily all-knowing or inflappable.. in fact, if you read Genesis, Abraham more than once is able to argue with and in fact sway God's judgement.. some would say that this was all God's plan, but most Jews, and the midrash (scholarly rabbinical commentary included in the Torah, the "old testament") says otherwise.

God created man in his own image. However, what isn't typically spoken about is that.... On the 1st day, God said "Let there be light".... On the 5th day, God created Man.

Now, let's break this down. Prior to the First day when God created "Light", there was no light. This would indicate that by God's true nature, he/she is a creature of "darkness".

God creates man in his own image. Man was created in the image of a creature of darkness.

I said God isn't inflappable.. double negative I suppose, but Abraham argued successfully with God concerning the destruction of Sodom, saying that it was unfair to destroy the righteous with the wicked.

I'll try to explain it for the mongoloids who frequent this board. One would expect that a God who is understood to be all knowing would be unflappable, ie calm and not upset or excited over events or crisis because this God already knows the past present and future.

However, the God of the Torah is not of this nature, and there is great evidence of this in the book of Genesis with the stories of Abraham.

Your post says nothing of the forgiveness or calmness of a god during crisis. You speak only of his judgment and his willingness to alter his plan due to argument, or that he is swayed by a mortal to change his mind.

I agree the context makes sense for infallible and infact is how I read it, I can accept he meant unflappable but it doesn't make sense to me either.
