AFF's Lars Mapstead Discusses Sale to Penthouse
Marketing VP says deal represents change in the industry.

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lars Mapstead, vice president of marketing for Various, Inc., parent company of AdultFriendFinder, discussed the company's $500 million sale to Penthouse in an exclusive interview with AVN Online on Wednesday morning.

Company owner and founder Andrew Conru had "wanted to diversify a bit, so to speak," Mapstead said.

this is huge news and congrats to everyone involved.

If anyone didnt realize it yet, i believe this makes the combined company the largest adult entertainment company in the world.

We dont know what significant stake really means... but if its anything around 30% than it would make the combined company worth as much a billion dollars.
