My 3 year old tells my ex wife "dadda loves you" everytime we meet up

I always talk to my 3 year old like she is 20 or something, we are very very close and its so much fun hearing her try to talk to me like a grown up, she tries so hard, haha. Anyways I guess I might of told her one day that I'm still in love with her momma or that I love her, etc... now every time my ex and I meet up my daughter says "dadda loves you momma" it is very awkward but she wont stop saying it week after week and she usually she listens to us. Kind of cute kind of sad at the same time.

Yea I'm quickly starting to realize that. She will remember one little silly word from 15 days ago and randomly say it one day. She also likes to make up stories which are very believable sometimes.

I would love to be with her still but at the time we had some growing up to do, she is 23 I'm 26, getting used to the whole parenting thing at kind of a young age took a while and really drained our relationship. We both did and said some things that really broke our hearts. Now that I look back I was also a little selfish and really did not realize what a good thing I had. I looked too much at her bad side and not enough at the good things about her. A mans family is the most important thing he will ever have in his life just sucks that it took us getting divorced to really see how true that is. Anyways I can go on and on about this but I stop now before I bore anybody too much.

Don't write it all off, man. There are people I personally know who divorced in their 20's and remarried in their 40's.

Either way, it's a learning experience, as all things are.

Keep it on the up and up for your daughter, and good luck to you. Your daughter will one day thank you both for being supportive and not condemning one another. It is STILL both of your jobs to raise her, and she will be the better woman for it, when she grows up.
