Since I started building my own boxes, I found companies like dell tend to cut corners. A big one is power supplies they go with just good enough.

you can easily get away with a $349 DELL PC for just surfing the net, email, submissions, building lil galleries...the 19" monitor is nice
i would just uprade the OS.... and if you can afford it, get 2gigs RAM |
