They are selling it for $349 and also with monitor included... Is that pc considered fast though, is that considered a lot of power or not really? I don't keep up to date with pc specs so I don't know what the standard is these days.

That's just a bare bones basic one right?

its a huge piece of shit....80gb hd, xp home edition (yuck)

i mean its perfect for your niece in college when someone spills bong water on it & she needs next day service or her term paper is going to be late

but not useful really for anyone in this industry

Since I started building my own boxes, I found companies like dell tend to cut corners. A big one is power supplies they go with just good enough.

90% of computer builders are using shitty ass power supplies and shitty parts.

you can easily get away with a $349 DELL PC for just surfing the net, email, submissions, building lil galleries...the 19" monitor is nice

i would just uprade the OS.... and if you can afford it, get 2gigs RAM

gornyhuy 11-23-2007 12:37 PM

I don't understand who is buying celerons - they suck ass.

If you need em just for MS application or surfing the internet , then this it's a good deal
