Neither lefty or righty has anything to do with economic performance - they just waste time and are usually full of bs and often a source of failings in any economy.

You are correct - the US does have the most competitive economy (fexible?? it's not a measure). The US is 0.05% better than Switzerland, 0.12% better than Denmark etc - it's less than a fraction of a % ahead of the ten top competitive economies and these economies are not deep in debt and have a managed fiscal policy. That is the difference right now - debt.

that's more or less what happened with the big car companies. They shipped jobs to places where the employees don't buy or dirve their products and eliminated a group of loyal consumers.
