Nope, my father never wanted to be management. He was asked many times and turned them down. He was a machinist, and still loves to work on things now that he is retired.

It used to be a good thing to work for the same company your whole career. Something to be proud of. You should be old enough to remember that.
He believed in a hard days work and to save and invest. Had nothing to do with needing the job, it had everything to do with pride. something you know nothing about.

The farming jobs have left rural Mexico. There are few jobs to be had in major cities in Mexico. The best way to make a better life for yourself if you're a rural Mexican is to come to the U.S.

why should my tax dollars support schools that not only suck, but are teaching kids in multiple languages because they refuse to assimilate?

if i move to france tomorrow because its a beautiful country and i really love it there... i would NEVER question whether or not i should learn french. seems pretty obvious and it would be the first order of business for me. i would do it for my own benefit and out of respect for my new hosts, where i am a guest. THE LAST THING i would do is start bitching about why they aren't doing more to accomodate ME. thats not their problem. my choice to be there... my choice to live there. my choice to work there... if i don't want to participate in any aspect of society and culture, refuse to assimilate or even speak the language... then i would hope they would deport me.
