Yeah, I don't think he'll give up the big bucks to get stuck with all the mess George Bush has made.

If it wasn't for Albert, we wouldn't be able to vote like this on the internets.

Thank you for inventing this...truth is that it is actually convenient

I think he's the best shot the Democrats have. Americans aren't ready to have a woman or a black dood run the country. I think people realize Gore was screwed in 2000 and that may even help him now.

If they don't run Gore I would just assume see a moderate Republican like Rudy win.

from George W. to a Nobel prize winner ? Can't imagine the southeast voting for a scary intellectual, but both coasts would probably go for him..

He better get in fast if he is going to. He has name recognition, but he is already about 80 million behind hillary and obama in fundraising. I would like ot see him run and I think he would have a very good shot at winning if he did.

i agree. America is not ready for a woman or a black man as president. It will be a first for either or and at this fucked up moment in time, I dont think America can handle that.

Having Rudy as president would suck. I hate him for exploiting 9/11 like he does. I think its very selfish and someone looking to lead our country should not posses such an attribute.

I got my fingers crossed for Gore

it's kind of funny that the amount of money raised somehow influences the democratic election of a president

Yep, it's sad but true. That is why we never really have any third party candidates that have a legit shot at winning because they don't have the massive amounts of money it takes to run the campaign.

I'd like to see Gore run. I think the public doesn't blame him for what happened in 2000. After 7 years of Bush Jr antics, the public knows how fucked up he is...it seems plausable that he'd rig and election too.

Either AL, or bring back his boss -- Slick Willy!

no way - al's more important not being president right now - he can focus on his agenda and not the drama politics

Al Gore is very uninspiring. Even with a fresh coat of paint, he is still The Wooden Man.

the money wouldn't matter as much, as that fundraising money is already being spent, not stockpiled. I'd say he could campaign for little money with a late entry, actually. Take McCain; he's already out of money...

Gore has a name and the media coverage his jumping into the race would give him would be equal to millions of dollars. That said it would be hard for him to compete with the others if he had a lot less money. It would be harder for him to get his message out there without a lot of cash.

McCain has spent most of his money, and I'd bet he will be gone soon. His poll numbers are dropping and you rarely hear about him now. When they talk about the republicans they talk about rudy, fred and mitt, they don't really mention McCain much. I think he is trying to hang on until the first couple of primaries in Jan. If he somehow pulls out a win or a second place finish in some of those, he is in business, if not he will go away like most of the rest of the field on both sides.

Sadly, it doesn't take a lot of money to run for office, but it takes a ton to win.

Man, you are an idiot. Al Gore would make a great present. Possibly as good as Bill Clinton. Rudy sure is inspiring, isn't he? That asshole inspires me to clean the guns and shop for bargains on ammo.
