Ok this is very disturbing and got me thinking that all of us may unknowningly (or some people may be really very knowingly) supporting this. This has been reported by other organizations besides MSNBC. Believe me I'm not prone to only accept the forcefed views of the media that we get in the US but there must be some grain of truth in this - I've seen this repeatedly being reported by many different news outlets internationally.

Yes I'm sure there are girls that have chosen to become prostitutes in order to survive, get high or the zillions of reasons why women choose that lifestyle.

I think what's happening in Moldavia is not what's happening in Russia - meaning that these girls are there against their will while in Russia and CZ there may be more willing participants.

One of the articles says that there are girls that are looking for dancing jobs in other countries and then get their photos taken not realizing that the photos will be used later to sell them as prostitutes. It's also stated that people, relatives, friends and other family members, sometimes trick them into it out of their own economic desperation.
