Ok this is very disturbing and got me thinking that all of us may unknowningly (or some people may be really very knowingly) supporting this. Think about all the Eastern European girls that you see everywhere on TGP's, amateur sites, etc. How many of the women you see could have been forced into taking those pictures or movies - or systematically conditioned to their situation over a period of time?

Sorry, but I have been in Eastern Europe for 30-40 times and there is one thing I have to say: Go to Russia, Ukraine, and, and and... Don't be naive. The U.S. media has been known to manipulate the truth many times and usually have biased one sided views.

I'm sure that there are a large number of girls that were tricked into doing this, but keep in mind that there's also a large number of them thinking this was an easy way to break into the sex industry.

On both instances it sounds like a stranger usually convinces them to go "work" somewhere whether the claim is sex related or not.

This has been reported by other organizations besides MSNBC. Believe me I'm not prone to only accept the forcefed views of the media that we get in the US but there must be some grain of truth in this - I've seen this repeatedly being reported by many different news outlets internationally.

Yes I'm sure there are girls that have chosen to become prostitutes in order to survive, get high or the zillions of reasons why women choose that lifestyle.

It's a sad sad world but I believe that we, as citizens of the earth, know little of what truly occurs in the world depsite our abiltity to cross boundaries in seconds using the internet. News *is* very subjective and open to the interpretation of those that witness it firsthand.

I think what's happening in Moldavia is not what's happening in Russia - meaning that these girls are there against their will while in Russia and CZ there may be more willing participants.

One of the articles says that there are girls that are looking for dancing jobs in other countries and then get their photos taken not realizing that the photos will be used later to sell them as prostitutes. It's also stated that people, relatives, friends and other family members, sometimes trick them into it out of their own economic desperation.

I would say to you that all those who work in brothels abroad are whores and they knew why they went there - so they deserve no pity - it was their choice.
