I was asleep and my brother had the radio all loud and I would always get pissed at him when he would wake me up. I went to go tell him to turn the fucking radio down and all he said to me was, "Shut the fuck up!". 10 seconds later I finally understood what was going on.

i was qetting ready for work and was pissed that i missed the first 3 minutes of Regis and Kelly. I turned on the tv and thereit all was...unfolding on live tv. I called my friend and told her to get her lazy ass up and turn on the tv....the second she turned it on....the 2nd plane had just hit.

I was at my english class learning english when sudenly my teacher stopped class and turned tv and then i saw attack.

I was in a Datacenter across the River From the Towers when i heard the news and we went up to the roof to see the 2nd plane hit.

What am i doing 6 years later on the same day? Working on my equipment in the same damn Datacenter.

I was very close to the towers when they got hit and when they fell. I used to work on Varick and VanDam. I got out of the subway that morning and people were just standing threre, looking up at the first tower. I went into my office and we all just tried to figure out what was going on. Then the second plane hit. We all started to panic and we could only think of our family and friends.

Thank G-d for IM. It was the only thing working and most of us were able to speak with friends and love ones.

After the towers fell, I joined the mass of people walking uptown to try to figure out how to get home.

Not a day I or anyone I know will soon forget. I lost many friends that day.
