I'm tired of Thunderbird, what email client do YOU use?

This latest release of TB is fucking up again with bugs (on my end though). Also, i am getting a new PDA which i will use as an agenda too, and TB does not have an agenda. Would you say Outlook is good to use these days?

Is there anything else that will easily work with my email as well as agenda?

Does Outlook have spamfilters like TB?

Hmm my profile in TBird is 900MB and I haven't had any problems at all. I've noticed Firefox being flakey, though.

Ok, so there's no alternative to Outlook that allows you to sync calender dates and contacts?

Thunderbird seems to have a memory leak like Firefox. I'll leave TB running over the weekend and catch it running at 90+ mb memory usage. Fucking annoying considering it's just an email client. I too would like to switch but I'm not sure I want to use Outlook.

Thunderbird is pretty good. Seems it starts to act funny with massive amounts of email though.

Thunderbird is pretty crappy in general. I was using Eurora before this and it's 10X more reliable. I switched because they stopped developing Eudora and were going to base it on Thunderbird anyway. Sucks. I don't know any other decent alternative. I will never use Outlook.

Two suggestions

1. DO NOT switch to outlook 2007
2. Use the bat! (it managed to run smoothly with millions (!) of emails in its db)

Outlook is great for agenda, contacts, etc. but i strongly advise against using outlook 2007 for email purposes...

I used TB for a while, and when I got my new laptop I went from TB to win mail, and have been much happier with it. The funky thing with TB is it won't export your files, folders or messages. There is a way around that though.

Thunderbird and Outlook both have plenty of problems, I have no idea which is the lesser evil, but I'm using TB right now... (hating it).

I'll check out the bat, I want a good alternative damn it. How fucking hard can it be!?!?!?
